FAMILY TIME
Family Game Time:
Pine Cone Bocce Ball
Materials:
*Acorns
*Pinecones
*(optional) Paint
If you've ever played bocce ball, then you already know what's up with this game. Get outside and play even if you don't have a bocce set. Just use some of the fall nature God gave us!
It makes it easier if you have different color cones for each team. Paint the pine cones or decorate them with sparkle glue to know which ones belong to each group.
How to play:
-
One team or player tosses the marker - the acorn - and the game is all setup!
-
The teams throw their pine cones, trying to get as close to the marker as possible.
-
The team closest to the marker gets the points for that round - one point for each of their pinecones that are closest to the marker than the other team.
-
Play until one team reaches 10 points.
Family Kitchen Time:
Apple Nachos!
**THE ADULT IN THE FAMILY SHOULD SLICE THE APPLES BEFORE BEGINNING**

Yep, a sweet treat that is fun to make and messy to eat. Find the step by step instructions HERE.
